Does TextPower offer training?

TextPower offers two different types of training sessions on our system:


"Basic Training" that is essential to knowing how our system operates.  It includes information about:

  • How the opt-in and opt-out systems work
  • How to get numbers into our system so that you can send messages to them
  • How our system integrates with third-party OMS and CIS systems
  • Basic use of our AlertManager Pro app that allows sending of "FastBlast" messages to large groups on demand.

Training sessions are held on:
Second Thursday of every month at 8:00 AM PT/9:00 AM MT/10:00 AM CT/11: AM ET
Fourth Monday of every month at 9:00 AM PT/10:00 AM MT/11:00 AM CT/12:00 PM ET

TextPower also offers specialized training in the use of our powerful and very popular AlertManager Pro web app.  AlertManager Pro Training includes information about how to:

  • Determine whether a number is currently opted in or not
  • See what groups a number is assigned to
  • Adding numbers (opt them in) and removing numbers (opt them out) to your lists
  • How to add or remove "tags" to numbers individually or in bulk
  • Scheduling messages to go out at a future date
  • Scheduling recurring messages (e.g., send a message to your team for a meeting every Tuesday at 2:00 PM)
  • Cancel scheduled messages

Training sessions are held on:
Fourth Tuesday of every month at 9:00 AM PT/10:00 AM MT/11:00 AM CT/12:00 PM ET

Every TextPower customer can attend any regularly scheduled training session at no charge.  Personalized training or a training session requested for a specific time outside of the regularly scheduled sessions is available at a small fee.  If you are requesting a session for a specific time or purpose please inquire through our support desk ( for charges and availability.

Regularly scheduled training is unlimited - but our time is not!

Attend as many sessions as you like.  However, you must be on time as we will wait only FIVE MINUTES after a session's scheduled start time to begin.  If your group is not on the conference call at that time we will disconnect and you will be charged a no-show fee of $250.
